Physical Therapy Services

Our team approach allows us to consult with our colleagues if we feel that may enrich the treatment and recovery process. We specialize in:

• Orthopedics: Spine disorders, arthritis, postural pain disorders, joint disorders, post-surgical total knees, hip, and shoulder replacements, arthroscopic surgeries, rotator cuff repairs, Achilles tendon repairs, strains/sprains, whiplash and post accident pain.
• Sports Rehab: Traumatic and repetitive use injury management on and off season. Return to sports rehab, throwing and running rehabilitation, and we communicate with team trainers so that the recovery process is an efficient team approach that can take place at school facilities as much as is reasonably possible.
• Dance Medicine: Customized evidence-based physical therapy care for rehabilitation of injuries specific to dancers, performing artists, gymnasts and ice skaters with emphasis on assistance in safe return to full activity. A full service program of care for dancers and performers is provided through wellness consultation, conditioning/performance enhancement, muskuloskeletal screening, movement analysis, bodywork, overuse and compensation reduction.
• Women's Health: Pelvic pain and pelvic floor dysfunction including urinary and fecal incontinence, interstitial cystitis/ painful bladder syndrome (IC/PBS), postural pain disorders, osteoporosis, post partum recovery and dyspareunia.
• Pediatrics: Torticollis, musculoskeletal sports injuries, growth plate injuries, postural impairments, scoliosis, kyphosis, juvenile arthritis, neuro-developmental delay, post surgical recovery, cancer/post chemo reconditioning, gait and balance disorders, cerebral palsy and treatment of plagiocephaly, using the Doc Band orthoses. • Gait and Balance: Balance and Fall risk assessment, functional activity training, Berg Balance testing, Dynamic Gait Index, Activities Specific Balance Confidence Scale, rehabilitation to return to functional level, Parkinson's, Stroke, Multiple Sclerosis.
• Chronic Pain: Complex regional pain syndrome, TMJ and facial pain, fibromyalgia, headaches, reconditioning post prolonged depression, centralized pain disorders, nerve entrapment syndromes, thoracic outlet syndrome.
